Sevenhill Cellars

The Jesuits migrated to Australia from Austria in 1848 seeking a life free from religious and political persecution. They settled at Sevenhill in the beautiful Clare Valley and established Sevenhill Cellars in 1851, making it the oldest existing winery in the region.

As well as a winery, Sevenhill is a spirituailty centre offering a beautiful environment to experience Ignatian Spirituality. It is also the centre of a parish serving eight worshipping communities throughout the district.

Sevenhill Cellars provides sacramental wine for religious communities in Australia and in Asia. The Cellars also produces a variety of award-winning white, red and fortified wines. 

Funds from the sales of Sevenhill Wines help support the Jesuits in their ministries in Australia.
