World Youth Day
The Australian Jesuit Province is joining with other Ignatian religious congregations in welcoming young people to the MAGiS08 activities ahead of World Youth Day this month.
The activities consist of Experiments, an Ignatian Gathering, a MAGiS WYD Youth Festival, and a Post-WYD Pilgrimage.

New chapel opened at Daly River
A Jesuit blessing was on hand for the opening of a new open-air chapel on the site of a former Jesuit Mission in the Northern Territory's Daly River at the weekend.

counselors, writers and journalists, theologians and philosophers,
researchers and scientists. In short, Jesuits do all kinds of work.
Their mission is everywhere and always the promotion of faith in Jesus
Christ and the justice demanded by that faith.
